Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m)
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through terraced hills and river valleys, heading north from Kathmandu to the small town of Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang region.
Day 02: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m)
Begin your trek by crossing suspension bridges and walking through lush forests filled with rhododendrons and oaks. Gradual ascent brings you to the quiet settlement of Lama Hotel, nestled in the forest.
Day 03: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m)
As you ascend higher, the trail opens up with glimpses of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks. Reach Langtang Village, a traditional Tamang settlement rich in culture and resilience.
Day 04: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)
A short but rewarding trek leads you to Kyanjin Gompa, a sacred monastery set against breathtaking mountain backdrops. Enjoy the wide glacial valley and nearby yak pastures.
Day 05: Acclimatization and Exploration at Kyanjin Gompa
Spend the day exploring the area. Options include a hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) or Tserko Ri (4,984m) for panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas. Visit the monastery and local cheese factory.
Day 06: Trek back to Lama Hotel
Retrace your steps through the forest and river valleys, descending steadily from the alpine zone back to Lama Hotel.
Day 07: Trek back to Syabrubesi
Enjoy your final day of trekking as you return to Syabrubesi, reflecting on the stunning journey through the Langtang Valley.
Day 08: Drive Back to Kathmandu
Take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you can rest, explore, or enjoy a farewell dinner in the city.
2 night accommodation in Kathmandu at a 3-star hotel (twin-sharing basis) with breakfast
Ground transportation by local bus from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and return
All required permits: Langtang National Park Entry Fee and TIMS card
