The core function of door and window sealing strips is to fill the gaps between the door and window frame and sash, and between the glass and the profile. They also need to be adaptable to conditions such as frequent opening and closing of doors and windows, changes in outdoor temperature and humidity, and exposure to sun and rain.

Tolerance to extreme temperature fluctuations: Resistant to -40℃~60℃ in frigid northern regions and -20℃~80℃ in hot southern regions. No brittleness at low temperatures (embrittlement temperature ≤ -50℃) and no softening or deformation at high temperatures (heat distortion temperature ≥ 70℃). Elastic recovery rate ≥ 80% after long-term use (over 10 years).

Excellent anti-aging performance: Resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, ozone (vehicle exhaust/atmospheric ozone), and rainwater erosion. After 5000 hours of outdoor exposure, standard EPDM strips retain ≥70% of their tensile strength, with no significant cracking or discoloration (as required by national standard GB/T 12002-2016).

Glass sealing strip: Embedded in the glass groove to prevent glass movement and rainwater seepage.

Frame and sash sealing strip: Adhesive to the contact surfaces of the frame and sash to block air convection.

Corner sealing strip: Customized L-shaped/R-shaped to solve the problem of sealing breaks at door and window corners.

Some Mechanical sealing strips have self-adhesive backing or barbed structure, eliminating the need for adhesive during installation; they can be directly embedded into the groove for fixation, reducing construction difficulty.
