Day 5: Canopy walk and tea
plantation experience
After breakfast, we will go to experience tea plantation and
learn how tea is processed from field upto the cup of tea. You will just bear a
basket in your back to help local people to harvest the tea and then after, you
will learn how tea is being processed until the taste of it.
Later in the afternoon, we will go for the canopy walk which
a bridge suspended at 70m above the rainforest. Along your way, you may see
some endemic birds to the region and monkeys

Day 6: Go to respond to the
calling islands
After an early
breakfast, you will drive some 2.5 hours toward Karongi. Grab your drink and go
to respond to the calling islands. Beautiful and most importantly panoramically
green. You will hike the Napoleon Island and stand in front of the open
thousand hills. You will be amazed by the view, the fruits and the blue
monkeys, birds and the natural silence from an island to another.
Day 7: Rubavu city tour, hotspring and Kivu beach
After your
breakfast, we will proceed with Rubavu city tour and visit the two exciting
borders with DRC to learn more about Rwanda and DRC. The two countries have two
cities Goma on the side of DRC and Rubavu in Rwanda, considered to be twin
cities thanks to their intersection. You will also visit the German and Belgium
tombs to learn about the colonial era in Rwanda and the war that opposed them
in Rwanda.
Later in the
evening, you will go to relax on Kivu beach and continue with hotspring
experience.
You will just get
away your shoes and soak your feet in hot spring for health. The springs are
known to relieve pains and make your body feel well.

Day 8: Iby’Iwacu cultural center and Bigorwe
cow farm experience
After your
breakfast, you will have a walk in the indigenous village neighboring the
Volcano National Park, which will be rich in traditional and cultural
spectacular. The village supports the former poachers and communities around
the park. Villagers are very welcoming and happy to receive new faces. The
Intore dancers are beautifully adorned, with spears in their dance, their
hands, shoulder and hips in rhythm from one side to another following the
rhythm and sound of the drums, beads and bells around feet and necks to welcome
you as a groom or a bride.
Later, we will drive for about 1 hour
to visit some cow farms in Bigogwe and get to learn how cows play great
importance in the Rwandan culture, a symbol of wealth, prosperity, and
identity; you will get to know how they are used to pay marriage dowry and
bride price. Milk is, as a result, also important culturally. You will get to
know all the associated cultural rites with it and how Rwanda has been dealing
with the “Gira Inka Munyarwanda” program known as Cows to all Rwandans to
facilitate Genocide survivors rebuild themselves after the darkest period.
Later after this, you will drive toward your hotel and stay at Isange Paradise
resort.

Day 9: Visit Inema art center and Transfer to
airport to fly back to your home
After your breakfast, you will
get to visit Inema Art center. Unique and contemporary that it is,
Rwandan arts can be found all over the city but Inema Arts Center houses of
Kigali is one of the best. After this, you will get back to your hotel for
checkout and transfer to airport to fly back to your home.
