Day 4: Banana Beer Experience and Transfer back to Kigali to fly back to your home

After breakfast, we will proceed with Banana beer experience. The banana beer experience in Rwanda, known locally as urwagwa, offers a unique taste of Rwandan culture and tradition. The process involves ripening bananas (often by burying them or using smoke), mashing them, extracting the juice, and then fermenting it with the addition of ground sorghum or other grains as a source of wild yeast. The fermentation typically takes a few days, resulting in a cloudy, mildly sweet beer with an alcohol content usually ranging from 4% to 6%. You will follow all these processes from Banana plant upto a cup of beer before you get transferred to Kigali airport to fly back to your home.
