Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Welcome to Stone Town

Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Check-in at one of the historic hotel: Kholle House .

Spend the rest of the day exploring the charming streets of Stone Town, where the scent of cloves lingers in the air, and the historic Sultan’s Palace, Forodhani Gardens, and the Old Slave Market tell the story of Zanzibar’s rich past.

●     Lunch: Fresh seafood platter at a local Stone Town restaurant.

●     Dinner: Emerson on Hurumzi – A Swahili rooftop dining experience with dishes like octopus curry, spiced rice, and tamarind juice.

Day 2: Stone Town Exploration & Spice Farm Tour

After breakfast, set off on a guided walking tour of Stone Town, visiting historic sites such as the House of Wonders, the Darajani Market, and the Old Fort. Immerse yourself in the vibrant mix of Swahili, Arab, and Indian influences that make up Zanzibar’s unique identity.

In the afternoon, visit a spice farm, where you will see, smell, and taste fresh cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. Learn how these spices have shaped Zanzibar’s history and enjoy a locally prepared spiced Swahili lunch.

Day 3: Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank – Transfer to Matemwe

Begin the day with a boat ride to Prison Island, home to the giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over 150 years old. Explore the historical prison ruins before heading to Nakupenda Sandbank, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters, sunbathe on soft white sands, and enjoy a grilled seafood barbecue lunch.

In the afternoon, transfer to Matemwe, a tranquil paradise known for its pristine beaches and turquoise waters. Check-in at Kena Beach Hotel or TUI Blue Bahari Hotel.

Day 5: Dolphin Tour & Mnarani Aquarium Experience

Start your morning with a boat excursion to Kizimkazi, where you’ll have a chance to swim alongside wild bottlenose and humpback dolphins in their natural habitat.

Afterward, visit the Mnarani Marine Turtle Conservation Aquarium in Nungwi, where injured green and hawksbill sea turtles are rehabilitated before being released back into the ocean.
