We now continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 3860m / 12,664 ft. Here we rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Here we make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.</span></p><h2 style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.1; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 24px; text-transform: none;"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-weight: bold;">Day 5 Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut</strong></span></h2><p style="margin-bottom: 15px; color: rgb(85, 85, 85); font-family: Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; line-height: 1.6;"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Very early in the morning (midnight to 2 am), we continue with 6 days machame route, our way to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">You head in a northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek. At <a href="https://evendo.com/locations/kenya/kilimanjaro-region/landmark/stella-point" style="color: rgb(0, 165, 255);">Stella Point</a> (5685m / 18,652 ft), you will stop for a short </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see (weather permitting). From Stella Point, </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">you may encounter snow on your 1-hour ascent to the summit. At Uhuru Peak, you have reached the highest point on </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa. Faster hikers will see the sunrise from the summit. It can be very cold at night at these elevations, </span><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">but it will be quite warm by the end of the hiking day. You will want clothing for both extremes with you. view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. On arrival
proceed for an evening game drive tracking various animal species and birds

The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and
track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for
your picnic lunch at the hippo pool looking out for hippos and crocodile.

obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell’s Gate is the Hells Gate
Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contains two volcanic plugs, Fisher’s Tower
and Central Tower which is a smaller gorge that extends to the south and of
which a path descends into hot springs. Depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in the

Park, it is referred as pink lake for it’s thousands of pink flamingos and
other bird life-it’s a bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of
animals, it is a rhino sanctuary and the “Big Five except the elephant can be
seen here. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white
rhino while species like Cape buffalo and water-buck can be seen near the
shoreline. Drive to Amboseli national park. Dinner and overnight at the

National Park, it is home to famous volcanic crater that is the largest
unbroken caldera in the World. There are 25,000larger animals within the Crater
itself, mostly Zebra and Wildebeests. However, this is undoubtedly the<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">best place to see Black rhinoceros in Tanzania as well as
pride of lion that include black manned males. There are lots of colorful
flamingoes and variety of other water birds been found in the Ngorongoro

birdlife of over 400 species, the park is also home to hippos, elephants,
baboons, wildebeest and the peculiar tree-climbing lions. After an extensive
