Detaild Itinerary

Day 1 : Airport pick up to the Hotel in Nairobi

You will be picked up from Nairobi Airport by Mj Safaris Guide and drive to your Accommodation in Arusha town or Nairobi town.

Day 2 Nairobi to Game Drive Maasai Mara

Pick up from the Airport or Hotel and transfer to office for finalization and later depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. On arrival proceed for an evening game drive tracking various animal species and birds with your driver guide. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive Masai Mara

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic Savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Game Drive Masai Mara to lake naivasha

Early morning per-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Lake Naivasha with lunch enroute arriving late afternoon with optional of boat ride at an extra cost. Or visit the crescent island Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel.

Day 5: Game Drive Lake naivasha to lake nakuru

After Breakfast visit the Hell’s gate national park, the park has attractions like the Olkaria and Hobley’s, two extinct volcanoes and the obsidian forms from the cool molten lava. Within Hell’s Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contains two volcanic plugs, Fisher’s Tower and Central Tower which is a smaller gorge that extends to the south and of which a path descends into hot springs. Depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in the evening drop at the Hotel for dinner and overnight at a budget Hotel.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast proceeds on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, it is referred as pink lake for it’s thousands of pink flamingos and other bird life-it’s a bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals, it is a rhino sanctuary and the “Big Five except the elephant can be seen here. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and water-buck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive to Amboseli national park. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 7: Full Day Game drive Amboseli

Have a full day game drive in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches return to overnight at the campsite.

Day 8: Amboseli to Nairobi to Tanzania (Arusha town)

Early morning game drive and then return to the camp for a full breakfast. Later we will drive back to Nairobi to proceed to Tanzania through the Boarder of Namanga (between kenya & Tanzania) for another safari in Tanzania. Your Guide from Tanzania will be waiting for you at the Namanga Boarder. Pick up from Namanga by private vehicle and drop off at the hotel in Arusha

Day 9: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You’ll depart from Arusha or Moshi after breakfast for the approximately two hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you’ll pass bustling Masai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa. Tarangire national park where you could have a chance to see the groups of Elephant.

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive

Early morning breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch, Ngorongoro is located between the Serengeti and Manyara National Park, it is home to famous volcanic crater that is the largest unbroken caldera in the World. There are 25,000larger animals within the Crater itself, mostly Zebra and Wildebeests. However, this is undoubtedly the

best place to see Black rhinoceros in Tanzania as well as pride of lion that include black manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and variety of other water birds been found in the Ngorongoro Crater.Late afternoon drive to the Central Serengeti National Park.

Day 11: Lake Manyara Full Game Drive then back to Arusha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch; game viewing at the park. Lake Manyara is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s National Parks, a tiny (325km2) combination of Rift Valley, ground water forest, Lake and dense woodland. Apart from the spectacular and diverse birdlife of over 400 species, the park is also home to hippos, elephants, baboons, wildebeest and the peculiar tree-climbing lions. After an extensive game drive through the park, you will leave the cascades of flamingos

Day 12: Departure

Day 12 Transfer to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport. This marks the end of our 12 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari.
