Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha (7:00 AM) or Moshi (6:00 AM) for Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes.
The park is approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha and is famous for its majestic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and stunning scenery along the Tarangire River. Expect to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elands, oryx, and more.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch and continue game drives until late afternoon. In the evening, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart around 8:30 AM for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park located beneath the cliffs of the Great Rift Valley.
The park is home to a variety of wildlife including buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, elephants, baboons, blue monkeys, and — if lucky — the famous tree-climbing lions. During the right season, the lake’s shores are lined with thousands of pink flamingos.
