Day
3: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Visiting chimpanzees in Kibale National Park begins
early morning after your African cup of tea/coffee, then briefing at Kanyanchu
Visitor Centre. A chimpanzee trekking session in the morning takes 2-4 hours
and you will be accompanied by a guide. Chimps share a lot with humans, about
98% of their DNA is same to that of human beings.
On chimpanzee tracking, you will be observing the
daily behaviors of chimpanzees, taking pictures and also stand a chance to view
other primates, birds. You will settle for lunch after trekking with
chimpanzees in Kibale and in the afternoon, incorporate a guided nature walk in
Bigodi wetland.

Day
4: Queen
Elizabeth Park & Afternoon game drive
Set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s 2nd
biggest park, also famous for its sweeping savanna plains and a home to tree
climbing lions. Driving from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth N/Park is a short
distance covering about 2-3 hours. When you arrive, check into the lodge, enjoy
lunch and relax, then embark on an afternoon game drive along Kasenyi track.
Kasenyi game track wildlife viewing takes 2-3 hours and you will be viewing
lots of elephants, large herds of buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes, birds, lions,
warthogs, leopards.

Day
5: Bwindi through Kabale Town
Enjoy an African cup of coffee, after leave the lodge
for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel 2-3 hours’ recreational experience. This
comes with incredible view of aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, birds
and more. Return to the lodge and you will be checking out and transfer to
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day
6: Gorilla Trek & Lake Bunyonyi
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, leave the lodge
with packed lunch, bottled water and assemble at the park offices for briefing.
Get briefed about guidelines for gorilla trekking and start your actual trek at
8:00am, lasting for 2-6 hours with the park guide leading you all through. Also,
enjoy one hour of close encounter with mountain gorilla family, take pictures
and observe every bit about these large apes. After, return to the lodge, relax
and you will check out ready to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest of all
the lakes in Uganda. Spend your evening relaxing at lake shores, share stories
with others on the safari experiences you have had so far on this tour.

Day
7: Upside down island, Canoe trek & Batwa Experience
After a leisurely breakfast, set off for a canoe trek
and you will be visiting Upside down Island, one of the 29 islands distributed
throughout Lake Bunyonyi. On a canoe trek, you will also have a chance to see
many bird species, enjoy the beautiful sceneries etc.
Return from canoe ride, enjoy lunch and in the
afternoon, meet the local guide for Batwa cultural experience in the nearby
local community. The Batwa, the forest keepers live adjacent Lake Bunyonyi,
Bwindi, Mgahinga National Parks and other areas. You will explore a lot about
the Batwa pygmies, their culture, traditions, lifestyle, the dances and music,
norms, practices etc.

Day
8: Travel to Kampala or Kigali in Rwanda.
