Fused cast corundum series can be divided into three groups according to differing alumina crystal forms and quantities: α corundum block with the main crystal phase of α-Al2O3; α-β corundum block with the main crystal phases of α-Al2O3 and β-Al2O3 (with their ratio being 1:1 and the α phase slightly higher); β corundum block with the main crystal phase of β-Al2O3.
Fused cast corundum products are made by melting alumina in an arc furnace and casting into designed moulds, then annealing and insulating, and finally processing with diamond abrasive tools.
Sinitered High Alumina also as known Sintered High Alumina Brick, is supposed to be aluminium silicate with high content of Al2O3 (48%). It is batched according with a certain proportion of both aggregate and powder, and produced with high temperature combustion of more than 1350-1560℃.
There are 4 kinds of sinitered high alumina brick being commonly defined, according to different contents of Al2O3: A2204—sinitered high alumina brick Al2O3 standard content: ≥80%, 75%, 65%, 55%;
