In the heart of Carroll County, Iowa, during the tumultuous years of Prohibition, Lorine Sextro became legendary for her exceptional rye whiskey. Operating from her family farm, she perfected a recipe that would become Al Capone's preferred spirit.
Using locally grown rye from Wisconsin Glacier soil and a custom-built 26-gallon still, Lorine created a whiskey that stood apart from the harsh spirits of the era.
