Visitors descend a staircase to reach this sacred space, adding to its atmosphere of reverence.

Church of St. Barbara

Dating back to the 5th century, this church is particularly known for its stunning iconostasis, decorated with intricate inlays of ivory and wood. The craftsmanship extends to beautifully carved doors, offering a glimpse into the refined artistic traditions of early Coptic Christianity.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

Recognized as the oldest synagogue in Egypt, this site blends architectural influences from Christianity and Islam while preserving its Jewish heritage. The structure’s arabesque designs and biblical inscriptions reflect the diverse cultural layers that shaped Cairo’s religious history.

Once in a lifetime you should do a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia! You can experience the incredible landscape of Cappadocia from the air. You would be picked up from our hotel about 40 minutes before the sunrise and get served a light breakfast before going to the balloon launch site.

Climb aboard for 45-65 minutes of delight, drifting gently through the valleys and soaring high for an exceptional view. At the end of all flights, there will be a champagne celebration and all passengers will get a certificate for completing a balloon flight. Lastly, you will be returned to your hotel around 8-9 a.m. which will give you time to join daily tours or do other activities during the day.

Ballooning is the most popular activity in Cappadocia region, there are many companies offering flights, and a range of prices. Here's some information for you to considr when making your choice.

The price of your flight depends on the company. We do not recommend the cheapest companies, but also you do not need to pay for the most expensive ones to enjoy this experience. Number of passengers in one basket ranges from 16 up to 24 people. As prices get lower, the number of passengers per basket will get higher. Although the basket size is important for a pleasant flight, it is not the only aspect that affects the pricing.

The pilot also affects the flight cost as better and more experienced pilots are paid more compared to new and unexperienced pilots. An experienced pilot can make the most of the day's unique weather conditions to create a spectacular flight. So your whole experience is really determined by combination of all these factors. We recommend flights with companies who take all these factors seriously and professionally.
